Episode 41: Doctors, Detours and Dick-sclusions!

Friday, December 30th, 2016

Here we are, 'Combies, the last episode of the year and the boys are going out in their typical flair! Come on down as Joe, Paul and Drew review Marvel's latest cinematic daliance, Doctor Strange. The boys give you the rundown on the film but also dive into a rather interesting controversy that spun out of a casting choice made in the film, as well as an in-depth dscussion on media coverage in general. Ready yourselves because this one gets really tangential so keep your head on a swivel because they're going all over the place. Oh and you'll also get to find out what a good sandwich is worth.

For context on the Huffington Post's article surrounding Tilda Swinton's discussion with Margaret Cho, see THIS!

To see Ghost Rider pwn Galactus, watch THIS!!!

And for what they're laughing at in the post-outro segment, that would be THIS and THIS! Yeah, that was basically this episode, y'all.  LOL

Episode 36: IT’S A WORK OF FICTION! or The Seinfeldian Melee

Thursday, July 14th, 2016

Alright, 'Combies! We're about to do something a little bit different. This time... it's a show about nothing. The boys are just hanging out and shooting the shit without any real aim or topic. Yeah, you'll see how long that lasts! They talk about the current "Captain America/Hydra" conspiracy, social conventions and more shit we maybe shouldn't talk about but are really going to talk a lot about. This is a show you'll not want to miss, 'Combies, because this is the show where we finally earn the monnicker of "Howard Stern for Geeks". So come on down and watch the magic! The awkward and periodically dark magic.

And as usual, for context...
DBZA - Start at 6:17Scanners = Mind Blown! and, after the implied context, The Engineer and his feet!

As always, enjoy and make sure the kiddies are out of the room. This is an 18+ podcast.  ;)

Episode 29: ACTUAL Shapes and Sizes

Monday, August 17th, 2015

Alright, 'Combies! After a bit of a hiatus and a lot of kitbashing, we're back to discuss yet another controversial topic: the female anatomy and how it's conveyed in the media! But to cover our bases, we actually have a woman on the show to help rein us in a bit (if that's possible). Artist Katie Hodges joins Joe, Mark and Nik in the Hideout to talk about this very controversial and yet extremely important issue in regards to art and media. So come on down and see where this particular rabbit hole leads!

And for those playing the home game, to follow along with the discussion, here are the relevant articles in the order they are discussed:
